Healthy Vegan, Refined Sugar Free, Banana Ice Cream

Did you know that you can make ice cream in no time? It makes a very healthy, amazingly delicious and easy recipe you’ll love! Perfect for the summer.
As with many children, ice cream is a firm and lifelong favourite. It's something we always go back to albeit for comfort, cause we're poorly or just because we want a sneaky cool down on a hot day. My banana ice cream is a perfect summer snack or a simple dessert, which I am sure you will love.
If you have little ones who are reluctant to eat their 5 a day, it is a superb, healthy way to up their intake, whilst them having no idea they are eating fruit!
All you need is to freeze chopped bananas, then add 3 more ingredients and then BOOM! Your perfect ice cream. I-scream - you-scream 😉
3 frozen bananas
1/2 tbsp raw cacao
1 tbsp algarve nectar or pure maple
3 tbsp coconut milk, oat milk or alternative
Freeze your bananas in advance.
Take your bananas out of the freezer and chop them into chunks.
Add all of the ingregients to a food processor or blender and whizz until you get a smooth and creamy texture
The cacao is an optional extra, feel free to take it out if it doesn't suit you, then you'll simply have pure banana ice cream.
I love topping my ice cream with a dash of fresh cinnamon!
